Thursday 15 February – “Exemplar Projects”

Charge to Working Groups for Rice and Shrimps

For each working group there are seven tasks:

  1. What are the science issues for inclusion in the GECAFS project?
  2. What aspects of vulnerability and adaptation should be included in the GECAFS project?
  3. What are the GECAFS products delivered by the project?
  4. How will the GECAFS Themes be integrated conceptually and methodologically within the project?
  5. How will research based on agreed vulnerability and adaptation
    concepts be implemented?
  6. Which types of research groups (and potential partners – e.g. institutes, agencies,  departments) will need to collaborate to deliver the proposed GECAFS products?
  7. Which key factors have led to success and/or failures in any similar interdisciplinary effort?
