GECAFS Indo-Gangetic Plains Project Workshop

Workshop Objectives

  1. To confirm two case study sites (districts) reflecting the socioeconomic and environmental diversity of the IGP, given the three already chosen.
  2. To share and discuss protocol development for site characterisation and classification of their food systems.
  3. To discuss next steps for GECAFS IGP project.

Discussion of proposed Indian IGP case study districts and discussion

WG session: Two working groups -- IGP zone 2, IGP zone 4

Each group to identify what is the key issue(s) for each element in each component of the food system, using matrix from Dhaka meeting.
